A Surprise Pair of Short-billed Dowitchers

After spending a couple of hours in the wind and rain yesterday evening, I ended some "storm birding" by stopping at a local retention pond.  I was delighted to see a pair of Short-billed Dowitchers probing for invertebrates along the pond's edge.  What a nice surprise and nice finish to a rather unpleasant birding day!  Sorry about the poor photos.  They're quite grainy due to the low lighting from the storm conditions and the late hour.
