  More Hummers

I couldn't resist photographing more hummers yesterday!  A beautiful Ruby-throated male kept coming to our fuscia plant - so much so, I felt he was simply begging me to photograph him!  Since these little guys won't be with us for too much longer up here in the Northeast, I thought some nice momento photos were in order.  Too soon, they fly away south!  I believe departure is only 3-4 weeks away.

I noticed this little beauty would stop and perch on one of the plant's stems every now and then.  I haven't seen that up close too often, so, eager to please, I set-up my tripod and camera to try and capture his repose.  Sure enough, he obliged me with a few nice photos!
