  My Bird Life List

One of the fun things about being a new birder was there were more opportunities for life birds (your first-time sighting of a bird). Every new bird species I see is a real joy, but those opportunities are becoming increasingly difficult. In 2015, I started traveling to add new life birds. So far, I've visited Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arizona, North and South Carolina, New Jersey, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Texas, Virginia, Costa Rica, and most recently, the amazing country of Ecuador.

The list below contains the species that I've been able to add to my bird Life List since I started birding in September, 2010.
