Chirps and Cheeps

I drove over to Sinking Ponds again tonight to see if I couldn't get a little closer shots of the Belted Kingfishers.  I had a brief few minutes of some nice shots of a Green Heron and a male Kingfisher before a lady with a very rambunctious dog interrupted my nice cover in the foliage.

For some reason, leash laws don't apply to this woman.  Amidst profuse apologies, she continued, however, to let the dog jump into the water, chase the ducks away from a dad and his little girl, shake himself off all over them, and then continue around the pond jumping, splashing, shaking, etc... She actually encouraged him by throwing sticks into the water for him to fetch.  All peace was gone and I must admit - I was annoyed.
