Chirps and Cheeps

As I was driving through Batavia, I made a quick decision to scout the perimeter of the airport to see if I could find the Upland Sandpipers I heard about.  No luck with those, however, I stopped the car when I thought I heard a buzzy sparrow - not Savannah Sparrow.  I waited until I heard it again and, sure enough, it was a Grasshopper Sparrow.  I found the little guy in the grass alongside the fence.  Using my car as a blind, I got off a few shots before he flew.  Nice sighting!
