Warblers migration has really picked up and I'm enjoying seeing these little jewels again. They are truly a treat and a delight!
But fall birding is more difficult: picking out birds in trees that still have the majority of their leaves is tough, many of the warblers are wearing their "fall colors" (they are in basic / non-breeding plumage) and are harder to identify, and the birds hardly sing at this time of year making it harder to find them.
In spite of the challenges, I've managed a few photos of these beauties. I only wish the photos did them justice!
