So far, I think one of my favorite findings was a very busy male Black-throated Green Warbler who was very busy gathering food for his young. I never did see his nest location but I did see his beak full of caterpillars and other insects a few times.
Another favorite sighting was right in my backyard. A pair of Baltimore Orioles and their three fledglings was a real treat to watch. The parents were occupied for days trying to satisfy those hungry babies. They kept to the perimeter of our yard, which made it very convenient for me!

A Baltimore Oriole feeds her hungry chick.
A recently fledged Dark-eyed Junco
Another fledgling, a Brown-headed Cowbird. I couldn't find its host parent; it was probably off finding the little "monster" some food.
One of the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker nestlings peeks out of its nest cavity. They'll be fledging soon!
The sapsucker's mom posed for me!
I found a pair of Blue Jays continuing to go back and forth to a spot in the bushes. A closer look showed this baby!
This Great Crested Flycatcher had a nest in the pipe of a park entrance gate. He or she kept going back and forth with insects for its nestlings.
It's hard to make out, but inside the pipe are at least 3 newly hatched Great Crested Flycatchers!

A handsome male American Redstart
