Red-headed Woodpeckers and Rails at Montezuma

Celeste, Greg Lawrence, Ethan Gyllenhaal, and I made a big day of it at Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. I think we saw somewhere close to 90 species for the day, including a couple of phalaropes (Red-necked and Wilson's) and a nice Buff-breasted Sandpiper that Ethan picked out as it ran across his scope view.
Most sightings were distant but I did manage a few photos of a young Virginia Rail and a couple of the Red-headed Woodpeckers we saw near the end of the day.
