I was given another opportunity to assist Celeste Morien with her water surveys at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge this week. I love being able to help because we arrive very early and the marshes in the dawn hours are magical.
Today's surveys didn't bring anything too unusual, but I did get my First Of Year Alder Flycatcher and some very nice views of a Sandhill Crane.
